Behind The Name
One question we get frequently is, “What does the QC stand for?“
Woodshop QC is short for Woodshop Quo Confessio, where Quo Confessio stems from a Latin meaning of “a place or means of confession.”
It’s pronounced as:

Firstly, it’s based on the notion our work also reveals our character, and we believe our art and craftsmanship is an embodiment of our values.
Secondly, though, we proudly hail from Charlotte, NC – a.k.a. the Queen City. The QC is a subtle reminder our workshop is a place for us to work, and a place for us to serve – and that’s right here in Charlotte.
